A binaural walk around the Marrakech Medina. This is the central walled part of the city that features many 'souks' - winding, covered market streets. The various souks tend to feature different themes: blacksmiths, tanneries etc. Cars are excluded from most of the medina - this is mainly due to the narrowness of the streets - but this is compensated for by the constant danger of being knocked down by a motorbike or moped.
The recording was made using a DIY set of in-ear binaural microphones based on Primo EM258 capsules into a Sony A10.
